Here are some of my favorite photos that I took while I was in El Paso for InterCidade featuring the lovely Andrea Hernandez.
If you love that coat and dress, you can make them yours at InterCidade. I really wanted to keep that coat!
Let's get more personal.
[I write about my process while working on projects and I interview people that I find interesting.]

Hello! I know I haven't been updating this as I should have. There has been a lot of changes these past two months. So here's what has happened so far.
Photo taken by my very tech savvy 16-year old sister. Who figured out how to use my camera during the ceremony.
I finally received that (very expensive) piece of paper that says that I now have two Bachelors in Fine Arts! Hooray! (If you didn't know, I double majored in Communication Design and Photography.) Honestly, it might sound cliché but I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of my very loving parents who taught me how to never give up even when it seemed impossible. I love you guys!
This is us being super cute
Of course, I wouldn't forget to thank my sisters for being there every time I was having a nervous breakdown due to lack of sleep and stress. Thanks to my roommates/best friends for putting up with me and telling me to calm the f-down, and thanks to my professors for teaching me and inspiring me throughout the years.
After graduation, I went home for the holidays and spent the rest of December and all January with my family. Having the chance to just enjoy them was refreshing. I got to spend time with my sisters which is hard to do since my oldest sister lives in Chicago, and I'm in Austin. Now after this summer things will definitely be different. My sister Victoria is getting married this summer, and my 16 year old sister Mariam is moving abroad for a year as an exchange student. It was nice to just enjoy their company. We are very close and keep in touch through every social media outlet possible, but it's more fun when we are together. Having the time with my parents was very important for me. There where so many times when I only wanted to listen to their advice and hug them (I did a lot of hugging during my time home).
Taking advantage of my time at home, I offered my sister to take her engagement photos. We went to Mesilla, NM and got some pretty awesome shots (These photos will be released soon!)! I also worked with my cousin Mariana, who owns her own online boutique called InterCidade in producing some cool photos for her site featuring the lovely and beautiful Andrea (I'll probably post these photos next).
Now I am back in Austin having the time of my life with the process of applying and interviewing for jobs. Going back to old projects and expanding. Starting new projects. A little scared but excited about what will happen in the next few weeks. So yes, I am a work in progress, but progress is good, so I am not worried.
I'll leave you with this photo that best describes my current situation. So wish me luck as I continue with this thing called "life".
Hello World! The semester is almost over, and all the graduating seniors in the Communication Design program are finishing portfolios and getting ready to dive into the real world. To do so, we have been working hard in bringing together our Senior Exit Review, where the rest of the world will be able to see our portfolios and talk to us about our work. This event will take place next December 5th at 6:30 PM, so if you want to RSVP you can do it here.
One of the projects that I did during this semester consisted of taking portraits of every senior graduating from the Com Des program so they could use them for their social media, and that we would be adding to our Exit Review Website. Of course I didn't do this project alone, there's a lot of seniors, and a photoshoot needs a crew. Corey Keller and Molly Jordan where also part of the team, both talented and graduating with a dual BFA in Photography and Communication Design like me!
This is the Photo Team. (Molly Jordan, Myself and Corey Keller)
After the photos where taken, I worked on the editing, processing and organizing, then passed the photos to the production team who distributed the final images to each student. Every student ended up with two final photographs, a straight on portrait and one where they could show their dashing personality.
Here are some of my favorites!
Don't they all look professional? HIRE US. You won't be disappointed, we are extremely talented. I'll leave you with a behind the scenes photo of Jeff contemplating life.
Not every Senior is shown in the slideshow. If you want to see everyone and their portfolios, check out our Exit Review website, it is still under construction, but will be live soon.
