Hello! I know I haven't been updating this as I should have. There has been a lot of changes these past two months. So here's what has happened so far.

I graduated!

I finally received that (very expensive) piece of paper that says that I now have two Bachelors in Fine Arts! Hooray! (If you didn't know, I double majored in Communication Design and Photography.) Honestly, it might sound cliché but I wouldn't have been able to do it without the support of my very loving parents who taught me how to never give up even when it seemed impossible. I love you guys!

Of course, I wouldn't forget to thank my sisters for being there every time I was having a nervous breakdown due to lack of sleep and stress. Thanks to my roommates/best friends for putting up with me and telling me to calm the f-down, and thanks to my professors for teaching me and inspiring me throughout the years.

After graduation, I went home for the holidays and spent the rest of December and all January with my family. Having the chance to just enjoy them was refreshing. I got to spend time with my sisters which is hard to do since my oldest sister lives in Chicago, and I'm in Austin. Now after this summer things will definitely be different. My sister Victoria is getting married this summer, and my 16 year old sister Mariam is moving abroad for a year as an exchange student. It was nice to just enjoy their company. We are very close and keep in touch through every social media outlet possible, but it's more fun when we are together. Having the time with my parents was very important for me. There where so many times when I only wanted to listen to their advice and hug them (I did a lot of hugging during my time home).

Taking advantage of my time at home, I offered my sister to take her engagement photos. We went to Mesilla, NM and got some pretty awesome shots (These photos will be released soon!)! I also worked with my cousin Mariana, who owns her own online boutique called InterCidade in producing some cool photos for her site featuring the lovely and beautiful Andrea (I'll probably post these photos next).

Now I am back in Austin having the time of my life with the process of applying and interviewing for jobs. Going back to old projects and expanding. Starting new projects. A little scared but excited about what will happen in the next few weeks. So yes, I am a work in progress, but progress is good, so I am not worried.

I'll leave you with this photo that best describes my current situation. So wish me luck as I continue with this thing called "life".
