The last photography show that Middle Grey organized was Lab Day. We where lucky to have Ben Ruggiero curate the show. Lab Day was at The Museum of Human Achievement in Austin, TX, and featured work from Texas State Students.
Ben's whole vision of the show was BIG. After seeing the venue, he wanted to have big prints all around the white walls. So he picked images that would look good if printed in a big size.
The whole process of printing was very fun. Ben showed a couple of people how to print big so we would have that skill later on, and he provided a roll of paper that was more than enough to have all photographs printed.

Lab Day happened two days before my Thesis show. So I was really busy with all the little details to finish for both shows. Luckily I had a great team and support from my teachers like Ricky Yanas and other Middle Grey members that helped during the installation the day prior to the show while I ran around finishing my own thesis (more about my thesis in the next blog post).
We had a great turnout and lots of friends, parents, and faculty where able to make it.
Check out some of the Instagram photos from that night.
