January 30th, Ricky Yanas one of our amazing professors at Texas State (now resides in Philadelphia), had an opening at the UT Austin Historical Present. Some Middle Grey Members and friends of course attended. 

"The exhibition featured photographs and mixed media works by Juan Capistran and Ricky Yanas. They explore the resonance of civil rights and liberation movements from the 1950s to 1970s. Through their work, they situate viewers in an "historical present," a term that describes the use of the present tense to recall vivid narratives of the past."
